Recently we contacted the Abbot Primate of all Benedictine monks and nuns worldwide, Notker Wolf, to present the idea of this website. He finds the project “a good idea” and encourages us to contact each Benedictine monastery. This is a nice hint that we might be on the right track.

We are still in the process of editing a long serie of articles and texts on monasteries to publish on this site, to make it more informational on monasticism.

Due to full time professional work, we struggle to find the time to translate the texts into English. So to raise money for this project we intend to begin by trying to sell some articles to English speaking newspapers. But then we also need to develp the contacts to such media, which also takes time. Still we hope that all this will soon see the day of light on these pages.
